The majestic bakuchi extract. Bakuchi, the extract from the Chinese babchi plant, contains a component call bakuchoil. Bakuchoil is natures form of provitamin A and acts as a retinol on the skin. Retinol has been scientifically proven to lighten the skin and minimize the appearance of wrinkles. Typically retinoids are avoided in day creams as they are photosensitive however, this incredible active is not and has shown evidence of actually providing protection from the effects of the sun.
